Description

The aim of NEXOGENESIS is to support the development of policies that manage resources effectively. It is recognized that managing the water-energy-food-ecosystem (WEFE) nexus is extremely challenging due to the complexity and interconnectedness of the system. Current fragmentation in policy formulation, along with advances in research, offer an opportunity to improve policy design and the policy design process based on the latest science and research across disciplines.

NEXOGENESIS aims to support the formulation and integration of WEFE nexus policy, in ways that can simultaneously address concerns related to resources, geography and stakeholder perspectives.

We lead Work Package 5, which co-ordinates the five case studies within the project.
