Economic history helps you understand and analyse the economic and social issues of today by studying the past development of society.You study international perspectives, covering how production, reproduction and the distribution of resources have been organised historically, as well as in modern times.
Doctoral studies
Our doctoral programme gives students the knowledge and skills to conduct independent research, a deep understanding of the subject area, and the ability to teach.
A doctoral degree is equivalent to four years of full-time study; however, after two years of studies students can graduate with a licentiate degree.
