King Carl XVI Gustaf has announced the decision to award H.M. The King’s Medal to the Vice-Chancellor of Uppsala University Anders Hagfeldt, Professor of History Maria Ågren, and Professor Emeritus of Cardiology Lars Wallentin.

The King will present the medals at a ceremony at the Royal Palace on 9 September.
