NordicPharmaTrain brings together leading research and education efforts across the Nordic region, with a strong focus on drug delivery, modern pharmaceutical manufacturing, and clinical application. The initiative emphasizes innovation and translation within these fields and is built on a collaboration between ten top-tier Nordic universities.
The NordicPharmaTrain program is centered around three key pillars:
• Mobility opportunities for both early-career and senior researchers
• Collaborative research and education with regional life science partners
• Training and mentorship to prepare young scientists for leadership roles in the Nordic pharmaceutical and biotech industries
Through partnerships with EU-based consortia and six international universities, NordicPharmaTrain helps showcase the vibrant Nordic life science ecosystem to a global audience, attracting new talent to the region. Close collaboration with industry and clinical partners ensures a smooth transition from academic training to careers in Nordic life science sectors.
