Project Organisation
NordicPharmaTrain is a large scale scientific co-operation project within pharmaceutical science. To facilitate efficient use of resources, a well thought-out coordination and organization is key. Structures for co-operation and mutual communication is also essential.
Nordic Pharma Train is centrally coordinated by the Uppsala University. The research is managed by researchers from the partner universities.
Our research activities are organized in three core work packages and four cross-disciplinary work packages facilitating interdisciplinary work. Combined the structure ensures coverage of the entire spectrum of pharmaceutical research.
The entire structure of Nordic Pharma Train involves 10 Nordic partner universities, and 6 internationally renowned associated partner universities, altogether then 80+ scientific staff members, and 100+ Ph.D. students. The consortium is also working closely with the Nordic pharmaceutical industry, aligning research efforts with real-world healthcare needs and expands the professional network of participating researchers.
Researcher mobility is a key feature of NordicPharmaTrain. Regular mobility actions between the partner universities foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a vibrant academic community across the region.
