Leave the E4 Uppsala bypass at junction 187 and take road 282 towards Edsbro. After about 200 m turn right towards Danmark and ”Linnés Hammarby” (signed).

By bus
Bus 102 from Uppsala to Knivsta stops at the turn-off for Linnaeus’ Hammarby, about 2 km from the museum. The travel time from Uppsala Central Station is about 20 minutes, the return journey about 25 minutes. The bus departs every 30 minutes on weekdays and once an hour on weekends.

Heritage Railway and veteran bus service to Linnaeus’ Hammarby
Sunday 21 July, Saturday 11 August, and Saturday 21 September the Uppsala-Lenna Heritage Railway operates a veteran bus service to Linnaeus’ Hammarby.
Departure from Uppsala Östra at 10:10 and 12:35. Back in Uppsala at 15:00 or 17:00. The tours allow a 2–4 hours visit at Linnaeus' Hammarby.
- Tickets: 260 SEK/adult both directions or 130 SEK/adult one-way, children 7–15 years old pay half price. Two children can accompany an adult for free.
- Buy your ticket at the ticket desk at the railway station Uppsala Östra on the day of departure.

By bike
You can go by bike to Linnaeus' Hammarby. The distance is between 12 kilometers and 15 kilometers depending of your choice of route. The last 5–6 kilometers are on narrow roads with car traffic.
On foot
Linnaeus used to take his students on educational nature walks, around
Uppsala - Herbationes Upsalienses.One of the excursions was called Herbatione Danensis, or the Danmark Linnaeus Trail. It is reconstructed and starts by the Fyris River in Uppsala and ends att Linnaeus' Hammarby.
The entire distance from the harbour to Linnaeus’s Hammarby is 16 km, but you can go by city bus part of the distance.
