Cultural competence – a workshop series
As part of the scientific area’s work on internationalisation and the initiative Regardless of Background, Medfarm offers an annual workshop series on cultural competence for students, doctoral students and employees. The aim of the workshop series is to strengthen participants’ understanding of cultural perspectives and support an inclusive work and study environment.
The workshops are led by:
- Charlotta Öberg, PRISMA Cross-Cultural Consultants – an expert in cultural diversity and intercultural communication, and an internationally in-demand lecturer. (add picture)
- Gregory Garretson, Ph.D. in linguistics – with decades of experience in language teaching, including several years as a lecturer at the Department of English at Uppsala University. (add picture)
