Medfarm’s Programme-Wide Internationalisation Group (PIGG)

PIGG is an internationalisation network for the Disciplinary Domain’s educational programmes. The aim is to facilitate the exchange of experiences, external analysis and the identification of needs in international education matters.

PIGG operates on behalf of the Undergraduate and Master’s Education Committee at the Faculty of Medicine (GRUNK) to promote internationalisation within the programmes. The work is summarised each year in a report. This report includes PIGG’s focus areas for the year, an account of the year’s activities within the programmes and a compilation of mobility statistics at the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy.

In PIGG, all programme committees at the Faculty of Medicine are represented by the programmes’ international coordinators, together with representatives from the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Internationalisation Group (FIGG) and administrative staff from the Faculty Office.

As PIGG is a network and not a decision-making committee, the forum is open to anyone interested in internationalisation in education.
