At Uppsala University
CDHU - Center for Digital Humanities and Social Sciences
CDHU offers research support and professional development to contribute to the expanded use of digital methods in humanities and social science research. Provides support in digital methods and tools throughout the entire research process.

The role of the Data Protection Officer is to ensure that personal data processing within the organization is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation. (GDPR).
The Office for Information Provision, Registry and University Archives
Provides support in information management and matters concerning public records at the university.
The research support units at the offices for HumSam, MedFarm, and TekNat
The research support units maintain contact with the major Swedish research funders and provide information about calls for proposals and news to the university's researchers and administrators. They also provide support for research applications within the EU framework programs and other applications that require central management.
Good Research Practice - Contact and Advice
- Confidants (trusted persons) for good research practice at Uppsala University can provide support, advice, and information on good research practice and ethical review to department heads and researchers.
- Center for Research and Bioethics (CRB)
Interdisciplinary center that offers assistance in organizing education in research ethics. - The Board for Investigation of Misconduct in Research
The board supports the rector in matters concerning, among other things, deviations from good research practice and in deciding which reports of misconduct should be forwarded to the national committee. - The Nagoya Protocol – support at UU

The advicer handles strategic issues regarding good research practice.
Legal Affairs
Offers legal expertise for university management and institutions, and represents the university in legal matters. Also handles matters related to cooperation agreements and commissioned research agreements.
The Security and Safety Division
Supports, coordinates, advises, and educates on information and IT security for the entire university. Helps with information classification of data and requirements analysis of data systems.
UCR - Uppsala Clinical Research Center
UCR is part of the support function for clinical research at Uppsala University Hospital and Uppsala University, offering services in the conduct of clinical studies, observational studies, biostatistics, and quality follow-up in healthcare.
The University Library
Offers support in matters related to open science, data management plans, as well as the publication of research data and associated metadata.
University-wide IT
IT support at UU handles all types of inquiries related to IT services and IT support, such as solutions for storage, documentation, collaboration, and data sharing.
UPPMAX - Uppsala Multidisciplinary Center for Advanced Computational Science
UPPMAX is Uppsala University's resource for high-performance computers, large-scale data storage, and expertise in high-performance computing.

UU Innovation supports students, researchers, and employees who want to develop their ideas and create broader benefits with their research in society. Handles issues related to commercialization, IP rights, networking, and utilization.

NBIS - National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden
National research infrastructure in the life sciences. Constitutes the bioinformatics platform at Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab). Swedish node in the international research infrastructure ELIXIR.
SciLifeLab Data Centre
Unit within SciLifeLab responsible for IT and data management. Provides support to researchers using services at SciLifeLab and the national program for data-driven life science DDLS.
Swedish National Data Service - SND
National infrastructure that supports the accessibility, preservation, and reuse of research data and related materials. Offers research data consulting and domain specialists with expert knowledge.
