To help make the alumni network visible at graduation ceremonies, we have put together a "graduation kit" for events at the University Main Building. The kit includes:

  • 2 roll-ups with the text "Welcome to the alumni network" and "Uppsala University"
  • a tablecloth
  • brochures and business cards with information about the alumni network
  • a brochure rack
  • pins with the university's seal (limited number, first come first serve) with trays to display them on
  • long and short graduation speeches

Every year, the Alumni Team sends out 3-4 newsletters to all 30,000+ members of Uppsala University's alumni network. Employees at Uppsala University who are not alumni are also welcome to join the network and receive the same newsletters. Each newsletter has a theme, and it is the theme that guides the content. The content is specifically directed at alumni but should be of interest to many. Examples of content include popular science presentations of research, information about the university's cultural heritage, details about courses in lifelong learning and commissioned education, exemplary instances of alumni engagement, interviews with alumni, activities of alumni associations, and details about the range of resources and events where alumni are welcome.

If you have tips on news, an alum, or an event that we can write about in an upcoming newsletter, please reach out to us.
