About the course
Structure of biological macromolecules. Macromolecules in solution, conformational and membrane equilibria, ligand binding: cooperativity, steric constraints. Reaction kinetics in biosynthetic processes. Membranes: structure, proteins and transport. Methods to study equilibria and rates in association-dissociation processes. Processive enzymes. Methods to study interactions between biological macromolecules. Transport processes relevant to biological systems and experimental biochemistry.
