About the course
Industrialisation process at a global, national and regional level. A global overview is given, as well as a specialisation in the Swedish experience of industrialisation. The course discusses the causes, possibilities and conditions for industrialisation, linked to classical and modern economic theories of production factors, entrepreneurship and innovation. The course highlights the technical, economic, social, ethical, and political aspects of industrialisation. Individual deepening based on current scientific research in any freely chosen aspect of the industrialisation process.
