About the course

Do you wish to improve your academic Swedish? This course takes off where "Writing in Academic Contexts for Students with Swedish as a Second Language or Swedish as a Foreign Language" (5NS139) left off. The course aims at improving writing skills in academic and scientific Swedish. During this course you will write an essay in a scientific field of your choice. The essay aims at developing a proper advanced academic vocabulary and the ability to produce structured scientific texts. It meets the needs of students across various disciplines.

The course is well-suited to be combined with:

  • Oral Communication in Academic Contexts for Students with Swedish as a Second Language or Swedish as a Foreign Language, 7.5 credits
  • Reading in Academic Contexts for Students with Swedish as a Second Language or Swedish as a Foreign Language, 7.5 credits
