About the course
Love, poetry, adventure - the Icelandic sagas have it all. The Old Icelandic language provides access to Scandinavia's possibly greatest contribution to world literature: the Icelandic sagas, the Prose Edda and the Eddic poems. This course provides an introduction to Old Icelandic and the saga literature.
