About the course
Immerse yourself in the exciting world of sound design and soundscapes! This course explores the dynamic relationship between audio, gameplay mechanics, and visuals in digital games, as well as player guidance and feedback. You'll analyze soundscapes that enhance player immersion beyond the confines of a screen and then apply theory and concepts by designing and implementing your own soundscape in a level.
You'll source, record, process, and combine sounds using DAWs, audio middleware, and a game engine to create a cohesive narrative that elevates the player experience. By the end of the course, you'll master essential tools and techniques and reflect on your journey as a sound designer.
