About the course
The course is directed to English teachers at the secondary level and in adult education. The course covers the dramatic changes in Irish society, from a rural agricultural country to a modern EU state, through the study of contemporary literature. A non-compulsory study trip to Ireland, including meetings with authors, will be arranged during the course term. Participants will improve their English language proficiency and develop ideas for their own teaching of English.
