Learning outcomes
On completion of the course students should be able to
– demonstrate knowledge and understanding of different methodological and theoretical perspectives on research of children's geographies and identity-work in educational contexts
- describe, explain and analyse children's geographies and identity-work in different educational contexts
Content
Within the course different aspects are treated:
- children's everyday life in educational settings
- children's agency within and representation of different places
- identity and identity-work
Instruction
The instruction consists of lectures, seminars and tutoring.
Assessment
Written and oral examination.
