General provisions
This course substitutes and corresponds to the 3FK310, 15 hp.
Entry requirements
180 credits with chemistry as main field of study, of which at least 7.5 credits at level C in analytical pharmaceutical chemistry, or equivalent. Knowledge in Swedish and/or English equivalent to what is required for basic qualification to Swedish higher education on basic level.
Learning outcomes
The course shall give the student training in planning, carrying out and presenting an individual assignment/literary work within analytical pharmaceutical chemistry in contact with research and development for pharmaceutical and biomedical applications.
Content
An individual assignment is carried out, where the knowledge from previously completed courses within respective study programme is applied. The work is carried out guided by a supervisor in close connection with ongoing research or development projects.
Instruction
Teaching takes place in the form of individual supervision and seminars. Compulsory parts of the course: Participation in seminars and final examination seminar.
Assessment
Performed scientific work/literary work is presented in writing in a report that is presented orally at a seminar. To pass, in addition to the passed essay, participation in compulsory parts is required.
