Learning outcomes
After passing the course, the student should be able to:
- describe in detail the construction, function, use and simulation of industrial robot systems,
- describe in detail the different parts of a robotized production system and explain their integration,
- design and develop programming code for industrial robots, offline as well as online,
- independently collect information and in group analyze problems of sustainable industrial development from a perspective of automatIsation,
- perform, test and analyze problems for an industrial bobot.
Content
Introduction to the use of industrial robots, with focus on production of electric vehicles. The basics of an industrial robotic system, including robotical tools, sensors, process guidance and security. Mechanical structure, drive line and prescision of an industrial robot. Programming and simulation of industrial robots. Economical, production technologies and wotk environment issues with robotization. Sustainable development from a automation perspectiv.
Instruction
Lectures, seminars, laborations and supervision of project.
Assessment
Oral and written presentation of project (3 credits), and laborations and seminars (2 credits).
If there are special reasons for doing so, the examiner may make exceptions from the specified examination method of assessment and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the disability coordinator of the university.
