Entry requirements

120 credits in science/engineering including 15 credits in Electrical Engineering. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

Learning outcomes

After passing the course, the student should be able to:

  • realize a technical system for electric propulsion of a common vehicle,
  • verify that the suggested solution fulfils given specifications,
  • independently search for, evaluate and use scientific and technical information in order to answer a given problem,
  • individually write a technical report.

Content

Design a small-sized electrical drive line for a bicycle, skateboard or moped/scooter or similar. Verification of the technical solution.

Instruction

Individual supervision.

Assessment

Written and oral presentation of the project work.

If there are special reasons for doing so, the examiner may make exceptions from the specified examination method of assessment and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the disability coordinator of the university.
