Cesar Fortes-Lima (cesar.fortes-lima@ebc.uu.se) is specialized in Human Population Genetics and currently works at the sub-Department of Human Evolution at Uppsala University (Sweden) as a Researcher. He has a Doctorate in Biological Anthropology. His main research areas include African genetic diversity, African Diaspora, transatlantic slave trade, demographic inference, admixture dynamics, mass migrations. His research is mostly conducted in Africa and Latin America.
