Sedan mars 2025 har Frida Bällgren en forskartjänst inom bioanalys och farmakokinetik vid ADMEoT/UDOPP, Drug Discovery and Development platform, SciLifeLab, Uppsala universitet (UU). Hon har en doktorsexamen i farmaceutisk vetenskap (2024) och en masterexamen i farmaci (2019). Hennes doktorsavhandling fokuserade på translation av aktivt upptag av småmolekylära läkemedel över hjärnbarriärer, med hjälp av in vitro- och in vivo-modeller, i hälsa och sjukdom.
