Thom is a PhD student in Computing Education Research. His research is focused on capital development in the computing classroom, aiming to understand why people engage with computing, and what they aspire to do with it. His goal is to inspire more young people, in particular those from underserved communities, to participate in computing education. For a full overview of his work, see his personal website.
