Kort presentation
Jag är leg. psykolog och har disputerat inom CHAP, Child Health and Parenting Research Group. Min forskning rör barn i förskoleåldern och jag är involverad i flera projekt där barnen, oftast genom intervjuer, får göra sina röster hörda. Jag är också ansvarig för att utveckla och utvärdera en ny modell för tidiga insatser till barn i 1,5-6 års åldern med neuropsykiatriska problem.

Biografi
Min forskning rör framförallt de yngre barnens perspektiv och hur vi genom att göra intervjuer kan få en bättre bild av barnens upplevelser, känslor, tankar och åsikter. För att göra det behöver vi ha bra intervjumetoder. Jag har studerat en datorassisterad metod som heter In My Shoes, som visat sig ge tillförlitlig information från förskolebarn, men också hjälpa dem att berätta nyanserat och detaljerat om sina upplevelser. Vidare verkar metoden vara särskilt lämpliga för blyga och svårkommuncierade barn.
Forskning
Nuvarande forskningprojekt handlar om att ta fram, prova och utvärdera en föräldrakurs som riktar sig till föräldrar med barn i åldern 2-6 år som har neuropsykiatriska svårigheter. Kursen tas fram tillsammans med mödra- och barnhälsovårdspsykologer specialpedagoger, BHV-sjuksköterskor samt utifrån föräldrars och barns behov. Kursen har provats och utvärderats kvalitativt.
