Kort presentation
Anders Malmberg är professor i geografi med inriktning mot ekonomisk geografi sedan 1999.
Forskningsinriktning: näringslivsomvandling och företagslokalisering, regional och urban utveckling, innovationsprocesser och dynamik i kluster och innovationssystem, universitetets roll i samhället.

Biografi
Anders Malmberg disputerade i kulturgeografi vid Uppsala universitet 1988 och blev docent 1995 och professor i geografi med inriktning mot ekonomisk geografi 1999.
Mellan 1990 och 1994 var han koordinator för forskningsprogrammet Regional and Urban Restructuring in Europe inom European Science Foundation. Vårterminen 1996 var han gästforskare vid Durham University, UK, och vårterminen 1999 var han gästforskare vid SCAS.
Mellan 2003 och 2011 var han föreståndare för Centrum för forskning on innovationer och näringslivsomvandling (CIND), Uppsala universitet. Han var prodekanus för Samhällsvetenskapliga fakulteten 2005-2008 och dekanus 2008-2011 och prorektor för Uppsala universitet 2012-2020.
