Biografi
Min forskning är inriktad på syntes och karakterisering av tunnfilmsmaterial för olika tillämpningar. Jag arbetar framförallt med kolbaserade föreningar som karbider och grafen, men även borider och oxider. En viktig del av forskningen är att designa multifunktionella material med en skräddarsydd mikrostruktur. Exempel är nanokompositer, amorfa skikt samt multilagerstrukturer med en unik kombination av mekaniska, tribologiska och elektriska egenskaper.
