Mimer AI Factory

Mimer AI Factory is a Swedish AI innovation program funded by the European High-Performance Computing (Grant ID: 101234349). It supports researchers, companies, and public organisations in developing and scaling artificial intelligence solutions, offering its services free of charge.

Mimer AI Factory, one of 19 EU-funded AI Factories, is hosted by Linköping University and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. It is part of a European network of AI Factories aimed at strengthening Europe’s AI ecosystem and supporting innovation aligned with European values, regulatory frameworks, and ambitions for digital sovereignty.

Mimer is designed as a complete “Develop–Test–Deploy” environment, supporting organisations throughout the entire AI lifecycle. It offers:

• High-performance computing for training and scaling AI models
• Hands-on AI expertise from researchers and engineers
• Access to datasets, tools, and collaborative development environments
• Workshops and training to build internal competence
• Business development support to bring innovations to market
• Guidance on ethical and responsible AI practices aligned with EU regulations

Mimer provides access to advanced AI infrastructure, including a dedicated GPU cluster hosted at Linköping University. Through expert support and best-practice guidance, organisations can design and implement effective AI pipelines across domains such as trustworthy AI, life sciences, materials science, autonomous systems, and gaming. Hands-on workshops and training programmes further support teams in building the skills required to utilise advanced computing resources.
