Charter & Code och HRS4R

One condition for the award is the implementation of the Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, the Charter & Code, which contain recommendations and good practice guidelines for the employment and recruitment of researchers at all stages of their careers and cover all research areas in the public and private sectors. To help employers implement the Charter & Code in their own policies, the European Commission has developed a tool to support the process: the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), which contains set templates and mandatory implementation steps.
