Outline for distance course: The course is IT-based and taught via the university’s learning platform Studium and the video platform Zoom. The student needs access to a computer with speakers, microphone, and broadband connection to follow the course.

Entry requirements: A Bachelor's degree with Indology as the main field of study. Also required is Translation Theory with a Focus on Translation to/from Arabic, Hindi, Kurdish, Persian, Turkish, 7.5 credits, or Translation Science, 7.5 credits.

About the course
You carry out a literary translation project into Swedish or English from Hindi/Urdu/Sanskrit or Hindi/Urdu/Sanskrit from Swedish or English. The work includes an analysis based on translation theory.
