About the course
The course provides an overview of languages and cultural meetings with a presentation of linguistic research in several areas. These are, for example, cross-cultural semantics and pragmatics, cross-linguistic conversational styles, language and mind, language, culture and literature, cultural aspects of translation and interpretation, language use in multilingual spaces, and discussions of a number of case studies.
