Gabriele Messori elected president of the EGU's climate division

Gabriele Messori, professor of meteorology, has been elected president of the climate division of the European Geosciences Union (EGU).

Climate: Past, present and future
Gabriele Messori, professor of meteorology at Uppsala University, has been elected president of the climate division of the European Geosciences Union (EGU).
Gabriele Messori will take up the post for the 2027–2029 term. The EGU is Europe's largest organisation for geoscience research and brings together thousands of researchers from around the world. As president, Messori will lead strategic work in climate research, strengthen collaborations and help raise the profile of international research on climate dynamics and change.
