Modern rhetoric explores the role of language, communication and communication technologies in politics, culture and society.
The rhetoric research at Uppsala university is historically as well as theoretically oriented with expertise in ancient argumentative art and early modern rhetorical culture, contemporary political rhetoric, propaganda and rhetorical-philosophical anthropology.
