Matthew Rosenberg and Dinh Son Vo win international awards

The Faculty of Pharmacy congratulates PhD students Matthew Rosenberg and Dinh Son Vo on receiving awards at international conferences for their presentations of ongoing research projects with focus on Drug Design and Oral RNA therapy for Crohn's disease.
The Department of Medicinal Chemistry congratulates Matthew Rosenberg, PhD student in Drug Design and Discovery, on receiving the Public’s Choice Prize for best presentation at the EFMC Young Medicinal Chemists' Symposium, which this year took place 5-6 September in Rome.
“I was given the opportunity to present my research as part of the Best Poster Award that I received earlier this year at Apotekarsocieteten's 4th Swedish Medicinal Chemistry Symposium. The conference in Italy was amazing with top quality lectures and valuable opportunities to network with other young scientists, so I really want to express my big thanks to Apotekarsocieteten for enabling my trip to participate at the event,” says Matthew Rosenberg.
The Department of Pharmacy congratulates Dinh Son Vo, PhD student in Molecular Pharmaceutics, on receiving the Oral Presentation Award at the MaxQuant Summer school 2024 in Munich. Son lectured on his ongoing project to - within the GENEGUT consortium - develop intestinal organoid models for the study of oral RNA therapy in Crohn's disease.
“The summer school was an incredible experience with experts lecturing on the development and application of MaxQuant in mass spectrometry-based proteomics research, and I want to thank both the organizers, the Apotekarsocieteten for making this trip possible and Madlen Hubert, Per Artursson, Mikael Sellin and Alina Meyer for all their invaluable guidance and collaboration,” says Dinh Son Vo.
