PhD Education: Mentor program
Participating in the NordicPharmaTrain mentor program offers young researchers a unique opportunity to accelerate their development, both professionally and personally. With the guidance of experienced mentors, early-career scientists gain valuable support in navigating academic challenges, refining research skills, and planning their careers.

Mentorship opens doors to broader networks, collaborative opportunities, and insights into different career paths—whether in academia, industry, or beyond.
Beyond scientific growth, mentors help build confidence, encourage reflection, and offer perspective that can be crucial during key stages of a research journey. Through regular interaction, mentees develop essential skills such as communication, leadership, and strategic thinking—laying a strong foundation for future success.
The NordicPharmaTrain mentor program combines online seminars with regular meetings between mentors and mentees, creating a supportive and engaging environment for young researchers. Our mentors come from across the pharmaceutical field—including academia, industry, clinical practice, and regulatory authorities—offering a broad range of perspectives and expertise.
Our mentor program runs for one year, with a new group of mentor pairs starting each autumn. If you're interested in joining, simply reach out to your Local Point of Contact.
