Mobility Application
Individual mobility is a central element of NordicPharmaTrain, offering a valuable chance to enrich your ongoing research through collaboration and fresh perspectives. It also provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in the research culture at partner institutions. There can various types of mobility—ranging from early-career researchers and senior academics to the movement of research instruments.
Apply for funding: If you are planning to seek financial support for a meeting or mobility-related activity within the focus area of the consortium, you can apply to NordicPharmaTrain.
To initiate a mobility action within NordicPharmaTrain, start by identifying a suitable research project or collaborator at another partner institution. Once you have a potential match, discuss the idea with your Local point of Contact at your home university to ensure the plan aligns with the network’s goals and guidelines. After that, reach out to both the collaborator and the Local Point of Contact at the receiving institution to explore the possibilities and confirm mutual interest. Once all parties are in agreement regarding the scope and details of the mobility, you can proceed by completing and submitting the application form.
At present, there are two categories of activities eligible for funding:
Mobility Action: This option allows you to request funding to cover travel costs and experimental work associated with your activity. Getting involved is simple. The application process is straightforward, requiring only a short form and adherence to a few basic guidelines.
eMobility Action: Designed to support collaborative research without the need for physical travel, this funding stream promotes remote knowledge exchange within the network. It includes support for activities such as sample sharing, collaborative data analysis between labs, joint supervision of PhD students and postdocs, and the use of online platforms. It also covers virtual events like webinars, online workshops, and digital conference

Submit the application for funding to

- The Local Point of Contacts both at Sending and Receiving unit(s)
- With CC to Caroline Fronczak Alvebratt
Applications will be handled by email and applicant can proceed with arrangements after hearing back from all these individuals.
