CHAP Conference 2027 – Children in research

Save the Date: 15–16 April 2027 for CHAP’s anniversary conference at Uppsala University – part of the university’s 550th anniversary celebrations.

The conference is linked to the anniversary’s theme of future generations and highlights research on children’s health, development and upbringing, with a particular focus on children’s participation in research and knowledge development.

In addition to this, we are celebrating 15 years of research within CHAP (Child Health and Parenting). Over two days researchers, practitioners and social actors will gather to exchange knowledge and experiences on how research can contribute to good and equal growing-up conditions for children – today and in the future.

As a memorable finale, the conference will open its doors to children and the public for an interactive half-day event that places children’s voices centre stage, bringing fresh perspectives, curiosity, and inspiration to the conversation, ending the conference with the voices that matter most.
