General Practice
Research in general practice is based on a primary care perspective, which involves aspects that differ from those in hospital-based care. General practice research encompasses health-related issues across all stages of life, as well as preventive, therapeutic, and follow‑up perspectives on disease.
Description
The General Practice research group conducts research from a primary care perspective. The group studies common public health diseases using both qualitative and quantitative research methods. We collaborate broadly with Nära Vård och Hälsa, Region Uppsala, as well as with other research groups at Uppsala University and other higher education institutions. The group includes 35 affiliated researchers across 6 regions.
