The planning of the programme is in full swing and we present some of the dates here. This is not a complete programme. It is just a first glimpse of important points along the way. More activities and details will be presented in coming weeks and months – so keep an eye out!

February

26 February – Winter Conferment Ceremony for honorary doctors and new doctors. Jubilee Eve, getting the celebrations off to a head start.

27 February – Jubilee begins. Commemoration of the papal decision to allow Uppsala to start a university.

March

2 March – Inauguration of renovated reading rooms at Carolina Rediviva

4 March – Celsius–Linnaeus Lectures

5–7 March – Student Nations Reunion Weekend

8 March – Release of Carina Burman’s book: Kvinnorna vid Uppsala universitet – en historia (Women at Uppsala University: A History)

9 March – Joint event Uppsala University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Uppsala

13 March – Royal Academic Orchestra’s family concert
