Vice-rectors and deans
Uppsala University’s three disciplinary domains are each led by a vice-rector. Vice-rectors are appointed by the Vice-Chancellor for a term of three years.
Each faculty is led by a dean. Deans are appointed by the vice-rector for the relevant disciplinary domain for a term of three years. The appointment may be extended for a maximum of one further term.
