Description
In the CoDeAc project – CoDesign for Accessibility of eHealth services – we evalutate accessibility of eHealth, by collaborating with people with impairments. We undertake surveys adapted to enable participation, co-design by participatory methods drawn from participatory action research and we plan intervention studies with one of the co-designed eHealth services. The survey results describe the disability digital divide in eHealth. They provide knowledge on a diverse set of types of impairment, to guide inclusion in eHealth development and research. By intervention studies, we plan to evaluate usability and accessibility of a co-designed eHealth service, and secondly evaluate if the service affect clinical outcome measures, e.g. blood pressure. We hope this will contribute with procedural experiences in user participation and in the universal design field.
