Description of the research group

In the research group Profession, Prevention and Practice, the researchers in social work uses many different theoretical and methodological approaches. The group members work in projects that aims to study subjects related to the professionalism of social work as well as to preventive social measures and the practice of different kind of social work. Some group members are studying connections between social work research and the field practice, while others are focusing on social politics, legal and regulatory framework and the socioeconomical vulnerability of the clients in the welfare state.
