eCAN+

About the project
eCAN+ is a joint EU project aimed at strengthening digital capabilities at cancer centers across Europe to improve prevention efforts and care.
The project brings together 83 partners from 23 countries – including universities, hospitals, cancer centers, and patient organizations.
Through training in eHealth and telemedicine, the development of digital collaboration, and the testing of remote follow-up in cancer care, the project seeks to contribute to more equitable and digitally enhanced cancer care throughout the EU – with a particular focus on including countries in Eastern Europe.
The goal is to create a safe, secure, and regulated digital infrastructure that improves both treatment and follow-up for cancer patients – while also promoting better use of health data.
