About the course

This course provides an introduction to energy storage in the form of batteries for electric vehicles. The basic functions of batteries, battery production and the use of batteries for vehicles will be examined. The focus of the course is on lithium-ion batteries, but a broader spectrum of other batteries will also be covered.

Outline for distance course: The course is given as a net-based course. Lectures are given in real time and are generally not recorded. Online attendance is required at seminars and other examining elements. Zoom will be used for digital communication.
