About the course
In this course, you will learn how to use the design and construction of regular, non-digital, tabletop games as a pedagogic activity for learning. The course goes through basic game design theory along with practical training in how to frame and guide tabletop game construction as an exercise in cooperation, communication, valuing and abstraction. The course is intended for teachers and students of pedagogics, to give a familiarity with game design as a learning process.
Outline for distance course: The course is given as an internet-based course. To follow the course, you will need a computer with an internet connection.
