Design of novel polymeric biomaterials for tissue regeneration and drug release.
Our research
Within the research programme Macromolecular Chemistry, we design e.g. new polymeric biomaterials to trigger a specific biological response with the goal of solving clinically relevant questions. Special focus is directed towards tissue regeneration and drug release where new materials are synthesized and evaluated in vitro and in vivo.
