Description
climes is an interdisciplinary excellence center dedicated to understanding and mitigating the socio-economic impacts of climate extremes. By integrating physical, medical, social, and engineering sciences, it develops data-driven tools, facilitates societal resilience, and supports policy-making for climate adaptation. climes addresses knowledge gaps in climate impact data, interactions between climate extremes and societal processes, and future risk scenarios under global change.
