Robin Augustine and the MMG research group featured on IVAs list for Research Impact 2026
We are proud to announce that Robin Augustine and his research team have been recognized on The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences’ (IVA) List for Research Impact 2026.
Each year, IVA highlights current research projects in engineering sciences at Swedish higher education institutions that demonstrate a clear ambition to be commercialised, and this year the research project “Fat-IBC: Wireless Spinal Bypass for SCI via Fat Corridor” was selected.
In the project, Robin and his team developed a technology that enables implants to communicate with other implants inside the human body. This solution has great benefits for patients with spinal cord injuries or chronic pain.
