Integrated Smart Systems Technology
We conduct research and education focused on the development of reliable, secure, and energy-efficient systems.
The Division of Integrated Smart Systems Technology (IST) conducts interdisciplinary research and education in intelligent and energy-efficient systems, spanning scales from microscale sensors and microelectromechanical systems to autonomous and networked platforms.
The research integrates hardware and software development and encompasses both theoretical advances and the realization of advanced prototypes.
Research groups
Flexible Electronics and Neuromorphic Engineering
Research and development of flexible electronics based on graphene and carbon nano-tubes.
