Workshops
Quit in Time, 28 April, 9.00–12.00 (on campus, in English) Fullbokad
We usually celebrate grit rather than quit. However, quitting on time is a hidden virtue and sometimes a more successful strategy than persistance for achieving objectives and maintaining well-being. Do you sometimes stay on projects, tasks, or co-operations way longer than you should? Do you sometimes feel that you should have quit before even starting by saying no to a request? During this interactive workshop, we will reflect on the logic that makes quitting so hard, explore why grit is not always a virtue, and identify practical strategies for quitting in time. In other words, to quit before something has cost too much time, effort, and resources that could have been used better in other ways. Link for more information and application.
Networking in practice, 6 May, 9.00–12.00 (on campus, in English)
In this dynamic and interactive workshop, we will explore the art of networking: What makes conversations flow? How do we even begin talking to strangers? How do we leave a positive and lasting impression? What pitfalls should we avoid and how? Whether you love or loathe small talk and giving elevator pitches, this workshop will help you refine your networking skills in a fun and supportive environment.
