Magnetic Property Measurement System

The MPMS3 provides users with the sensitivity of a SQUID magnetometer (≤10-8 emu) and the freedom to choose multiple measurement modes (VSM, DC & AC).

AC Susceptibility
The AC Susceptibility option allows the user to measure the dynamic (real and imaginary) response of a wide variety of samples including, but not limited to, superconductors, nanoparticles, and spin glasses.

  • AC Frequency Range: 1-1000 Hz
  • AC Field Amplitude: 1-10 Oe
  • Can be used in conjunction with any sample holder

Ultra-Low Field (ULF) Option
The option allows the user to set fields up to +/- 20 Oe.

  • Field uniformity: +/- 0.05 Oe
  • Field nulling window: +/- 10 mm

Thin films, solid materials, powder, 2D materials on substrate, single crystal etc.
